More 2020 Section 3 AllCNY Teams

Throughout this high school sports season, we had no idea what would happen. But after everything that has happened, it is thrilling to have some good news. Here are more Section 3 All- CNY teams for golf, girls cross country, and boys cross country. Section 3 All- CNY Golf Team We first introduce Jack Byrnes from Cazenovia. Byrnes is a member of the Class of 2023. His best round of golf this season was when he shot a 36. He said that his best moment this season was making the first- team all- league. Congrats to Jack on this fantastic achievemen­t.

Next, we meet Tyrus Kelly. Kelly is also part of the Class of 2023 and is from Chittenang­o High. His best round this year was when he shot a 34. He said that it was his season highlight. “Whether or not you play the best or worst round of your life, you always want to come back,” Kelly said.

Up next, we have Alex Moesch from cazenovia. He said that his season highlight was just being able to have a season and playing with his friends. His best round of the season was when he shot a 36.

Lastly, we have Tanner Smith. Smith attends Chittenang­o, and his best round was when he shot a 37. When asked who or what inspires you, Smith said, “I don’t truly have an inspiratio­n. I just love the game, and I enjoy playing.”

Section 3 Girl’s AllCNY Cross Country ( Small Schools)

Up first, we have Taylor Harvey from Clinton High. Her season highlight came when she ran a 19: 25 at the second home meet of the season. She said that running is like therapy to her.

Next, we have Madison Luke, who is also from Clinton. Sadly, she could only participat­e in one race in the season because of a scaryacl injury, but in that race, she ran 5k in 18 minutes and 50 seconds. Congrats to Madison, and well wishes on your recovery.

Section 3 Girl’s AllCNY Cross Country ( Large Schools)

Elizabeth Lucason is from Camden and has had a remarkable year. She broke four- course records and ran her personal best at 17: 48. Her best moments were every moment of the season.

Section 3 Boys All- CNY Cross Country ( Small Schools)

We have Jared Smith from Cazenovia. Smiths season moment was when he broke his home course record by 23 seconds. “I am inspired and motivated to prove to others that nomatter how far at the bottom you start, you can always make it to the top.” Wonderful message, and congrats on your selection.
