CHITTENANG­O- Charles “Charlie” Seeber, 92, of Chittenang­o passed away Monday at the Oneida Extended Care Facility. Born in Canastota, Charlie was a life resident of the Canastota-chittenang­o area. Charlie was employed at Die Molding in Canastota for 44 years retiring in 1990. He was also employed from 1968-1978 as a part time Chittenang­o police ofcer. Charlie was a U.S. Army veteran serving during the Korean War. He was a communican­t of St. Patrick’s Church in Chittenang­o. Charlie was a life member of the Oneida Moose Club and a past member of the Chittenang­o Volunteer Fire Department. He was predecease­d by his wife Marjorie in 2016 and his brothers, Francis, William and Everett. He is survived by his sons, Charles Seeber Jr. (Sue) of Fenner and Edward Schmidtka (Karen) of Clay, his daughter, Jo Ann Mcgowan (John) of Chittenang­o, his brother Thomas of Canastota, his sisters, Shirley Grifth of Texas and Sharon Richmond of Oneida, 6 grandchild­ren, 12 greatgrand­children and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christina Burial will be celebrated 10:00 am Tuesday, February, 16, 2021 at St. Patrick’s Church, Chittenang­o. To register to attend the funeral mass please call 315-687-6105 or register at www@stpatricks­chittenang­o.com. Masks and social distancing is required. Spring burial will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Chittenang­o. There are no calling hours. Contributi­ons in his memory may be made to the Chittenang­o Volunteer Fire Department or St. Patrick’s Church.
