Vernon-melissa J. (Mack) Fuller, age 50, of Van Epps Street passed away Thursday, February 11, 2021 with her loving family at her side after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born on November 21, 1970 in Oneida, New York to Mel and Carol (Jeffris) Mack and was a graduate of Vernon Verona Sherrill Schools.

The most important thing in Melissa life was her family and especially her two sons whom she loved with all her heart. In her spare time she enjoyed painting with them, camping with them, whether it was locally in a tent, or in the Adirondacks or St. Lawrence in their camper with her husband Erik who she married on September 23, 2006.

Melissa enjoyed her career as a payroll clerk with the Madison-oneida BOCES in Verona where she made some extraordinary friends and considered them her second family.

Her family at home includes her loving husband Erik Fuller, two sons, Zackary Perkins and Jacob Fuller all of Vernon, her parents Mel and Carol Mack of Oneida, one brother Chad (Kristie) Mack of Ft. Mill, SC, her grandmother, Ernestine Jeffris of Sherrill, father-in-law, William A. Fuller of Blasedell, several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; several nieces and nephews; and many friends including a lifelong friend Tracy Conde whom the family would like to thank for her love and support to Melissa and her entire family throughout their difcult journey.

There will be no calling hours. A private service will be held for the family. A celebration of Melissa’s life will be held at a later date to be announced when COVID restrictions allow.
