Arrests made in connection to recent armed robbery

Arrests have been made regarding an armed robbery and shots fired incident that occurred in Oneida on Wednesday, Feb. 24. Oneida Police announced on Feb. 27 that they were able to identify the suspects involved in this incident. These suspects were taken into custody on Friday, Feb. 26.

The suspects were charged as follows:

• Zachary Millson, 22, of Oneida:@tx Body:• Robbery 1st (PL 160.15, Sub 2) - Class B Felony

• Conspiracy 4th (PL 105.10, Sub 1) - Class E Felony

• Petit Larceny (155.25) - Class A Misdemeano­r

• Joseph Macri, 21, of Vernon:@ TX Body:• Robbery 1st (PL 160.15, Sub 2) - Class B Felony

• Criminal possession of a weapon 2nd (PL 265.03, Sub 1b) Class C Felony

• Reckless Endangerme­nt 1st (PL 120.25) - Class D Felony

• Conspiracy 4th (PL 105.10, Sub 1) - Class E Felony

• Petit larceny (155.25) - Class A Misdemeano­r

Both suspects were arraigned before the Oneida City Court and were remanded to the Madison County Jail in lieu of $100,000 cash bail, $200,000 bond, or $500,000 partially secured bond. They will reappear before the court on a later date and time, police say.

The firearm used in this incident has not been recovered yet, and the Oneida police are still seeking assistance from the public with locating the firearm. If anyone has any knowledge of where the firearm may be, please contact the PD at (315) 363-9111. The Oneida City Police thanked the Vernon Police Department, Sherrill Police Department, New York State Police, and the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office for their assistance with this investigat­ion.
