GEORGE WILLIAM BALDWIN
CANASTOTA- George William Baldwin, 62, was born in Canastota, N.Y. He was promoted to Glory on March 3, 2021 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. George attended Oneida High School where he graduated with a certicate of Architectural Drafting in 1978. George was a quiet man who enjoyed the simple things in life. He loved shing, the NY Yankees, gardening and spending time with family. He is known for his amazing work ethic. He worked as a technician for over 26 years at Oneida Molded Plastics. He was predeceased by his parents, Charles and Margaret Baldwin; two brothers, Archie and Edward; three sisters, Beverly, Catherine and Elizabeth; as well as his life-partner, Karen Boyce. His surviving siblings are Charles W. Baldwin, Maryanne (Glenn) Hunt, Dorothy (Anthony “Tony”) Marciano, Ella (James) Boice and Robert (Donna) Baldwin. Also surviving are his children, Robert (Melanie) Britton, James Boyce and his daughterin-law Janette Boyce along with ve grandchildren, Katherine (Anthony) Boyce, Emily Boyce, Joe (Mandy) Britton, Ashley (Josh) Walker and Robby Britton as well as four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. George has spent the last two years enjoying life with his girlfriend, Laurie Mann. He will be missed by all. Calling hours will be at Goddard-crandall-shepardson Funeral Home, 3111 James Street, Syracuse on Saturday, March 6, 2021, from 1 to 2 p.m. with his funeral service starting at 2 p.m. Burial will be private at Mt.
