We are so glad to have football back

Long after the first fall sports season wrapped, there were just loads more mysteries. Would we see the second section of fall sports back? How would schools be able to handle the transformation of winter sports right into fall sports part two? And, more importantly, if we have a season, would we see it in full? As of right now, we have a few of those answers.

The second part of the fall sports season properly commenced back at the beginning of March, and although we had winter sports like basketball and volleyball, it was not a 100% guarantee that we would see a season this year. But with Oneida making their fall sports two debut against East Rochester, it is harmless to declare that we have Section 3 football back in our communities.

Oneida football head coach, Jason Fuller, summed it up thoroughly with his remarks regarding his squad. “We are working

hard to provide them with a fun experience.” With all of the ambiguity of what this year would bring regarding high school sports, it is essential to remember what is relevant, just having fun playing the game because we have no idea what could arise.
