Point Place Casino celebrates grand opening of new café
BRIDGEPORT, N.Y. >> Oneida Indian Nation is celebrating the grand opening of Perfect Pour Café, the new coffee house and wine bar at Point Place Casino in Bridgeport.
The café features an innovative menu of gourmet coffee, coffee-inspired cocktails, wines, and beers, as well as handmade pastries and artisan sandwiches from the same award-winning culinary team at Turning Stone.
Officials say Perfect Pour Café offers the ideal setting for guests to enjoy a gourmet cup of coffee during the day, relax for a midafternoon break, and indulge with a specialty cocktail in the evening.
“Grand openings are always a special celebration in Central New York, and the opening of Perfect Pour Café means that much more as it signifies the beginning of our collective recovery,” said Oneida Indian Nation Representative and Oneida Nation Enterprises CEO Ray Halbritter. “Perfect Pour Café is a unique destination for guests to enjoy some much-needed time with friends, while still remaining safe.”
In supporting local businesses, Perfect Pour Café will feature gourmet coffee exclusively from Utica Coffee, and beer, wine and spirits from several local wineries, breweries, and distilleries, including Middle Ages Brewing in Syracuse.
Officials report many of the café’s design elements were sourced locally including the white marble and tiles for the main coffee bar from Syracusebased Roma Tiles and interior and exterior signs created by Canastota-based Victory Signs, with the entire interior design from one of Syracuse’s leading designers Sheila Aggarwal from Zausmer, Frisch, Scruton and Aggarwal. The construction was managed by Syracuse’s Hayner Hoyt Corporation. Décor was also allegedly sourced from Central New York partners.
Point Place Casino’s new café is a continuation of significant investments made by the Oneida Indian Nation into the property, which recently celebrated its 3rd
anniversary. In those three years, Point Place Casino has expanded its gaming floor twice, added The Lounge with Caesars Sports, the extremely popular sports book, and is now opening the new Perfect Pour Café.
The innovative drink and cocktail menu at Perfect Pour Café includes:
• “The Dude from Dublin,” a fresh cold coffee brew with bourbon and topped with cream
• “Barista’s Brew,” a fresh cold coffee brew, mixed with Patron XO Café, Frangelico, Disaronno, black walnut bitters, and cream
Developed by the same culinary team at Turning Stone, the food and pastry menu at the new café features salads including Smoked Turkey Cobb, Arugula Cauliflower Rice and Grilled Chicken, and an assortment of freshly made sandwiches such as:
• Chimichurri Chicken with spinach and pepper Jack cheese in a wrap
• Cuban with slicked pork, ham, Swiss cheese, and pickles
• Balsamic Chicken with arugula and mozzarella on multigrain ciabatta bread
