Report: A/C repairman beat woman, taped kids’ hands, mouth.

After brutally attacking a Boynton Beach woman with a steel wrench and tying up her young children Friday, an air-conditioni­ng repairman paused his alleged assault long enough to call his pastor and seek counsel, according to an arrest report released Tuesday.

Dario Hernan Dotto, who is facing charges that include attempted f i r s t - de g re e murder, had j ust thrown the bloodied woman to the floor of her master bedroom when he told the victim he needed five minutes “to figure this out,” the report said.

The terrifying encounter ended after the woman managed to lock herself in a bathroom with her children and use her iPad to alert friends of her situation.

Dotto, employed by All Time Air Conditioni­ng in Boynton Beach, was making a scheduled service call at the woman’s home in a gated community west of the city when the attack took place. He is being held without bail in the Palm Beach County Jail.

The report states that Dotto, 34, was at the woman’s home to check an air conditione­r on the residence’s second floor.

When the woman went to check on her children, she saw them emerge from a bedroom with Dotto. The victim’s 4-year-old son had his mouth taped shut and her 3-year-old daughter had her hands bound by tape.
