Police probe St. Andrew’s to see if laws were broken
BOCA RATON — Police are probing whether St. Andrew’s School violated state law by failing to tell authorities in 2014 about a reported sexual assault of a 15-year-old student on its campus.
The re-examination of the case comes after The Palm Beach Post reported Wednesday that the private school never contacted authorities when a freshman boarding student told administrators that The Post was the first to investigate reports of sex abuse at St. Andrew’s School. It was also the first to obtain and write about the investigation.
