Opener has extra meaning tonight for rebuilding rivals

Two years ago, Palm Beach Central vs. Park Vista would be considered a marquee season opener, a clash of perennial playoffff participan­ts.

But when the two sides take the fifield in tonight’s season opener in Lake Worth, Tonight’s high school games,

they will both be trying to turn around programs that hit bottom last season.
