Lohan stepmom charged
Confrontation with estranged husband, police led to arrest.
DELRAY BEACH — The stepmother of actress and model Lindsay Lohan threatened to throw a bag of ice in one city police offifficer’s face and later kicked a second during a disturbance early Sunday, according to an arrest report made public Monday.
Kate Major Lohan, 33, also struck a fifighter’s pose, “her fifist balled and her shoulders back,” as the officer tried to question her following a confrontation with her estranged husband, Michael, the report said.
The Lohans do not live together — media accounts said they are in the process of a divorce, and the police report lists Kate Lohan’s marital status as “single.” Police say Michael Lohan had told her she could not stay at his residence because she was “heavily” intoxicated.
Lohan is facing charges of disorderly conduct and battery on a police offifficer. She was released from the Palm Beach County Jail on Sunday after posting $3,000 bail.
The incident took place about 1:25 a.m. Sunday in the Villas D’Este apartment complex off Atlantic Avenue, where Michael Lohan resides.
Kate Lohan appeared there “yelling and causing a disturbance,” the report said. The reason she was upset was unknown.
Michael Lohan told police he had tried to arrange a ride home for his estranged wife, but she resisted, threatened to throw ice in one offifficer’s face and struck the fight- ing stance when a second offifficer approached her, the report said.
Told she could not stay at Michael Lohan’s residence, Kate Lohan began screaming so loudly that neighbors in the next building “began turning on their patio lights to see the commotion,” the report said. She ignored the officers and tried to push her way through Michael Lohan’s front door.
She was then arrested and kicked an offifficer on her way to the patrol car, the report said.

In March 2014, she also wa s s e n t e n c e d t o e i g h t months in jail and a year of probation for driving under the inflfluence of alcohol.
