Big fan of Epcot festivals?
There’s a new one that starts Jan. 13 — the Epcot International Festival of the Arts.
This event runs for six weekends, and it’s included in Epcot admission.
You’ll see Disney drawings and new food options — plus there will be performances from Disney’s Broadway shows, including “The Lion King” and “Aladdin.”
The Epcot International Festival of the Arts will run Fridays through Mondays from Jan. 13 through Feb. 20, and new art will be unveiled each week.
You c a n a l s o t a ke dr awing workshops for $39 and book a meal and get priority seating for the concerts (prices range from $39 to $69). The Jan. 13-16 concerts will star Ashley Brown and Josh Strickland. They will perform songs from “Beauty and the Beast,” “Tarzan,” “Mary Poppins” and “The Little Mermaid.” Strickland originated the role of Tarzan in the Broadway production in 2006.
After the art fest comes the 2017 Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival. It runs March 1 through May 29.
Epcot has been expanding the length of its popular Food & Wine Festival in the fall and Flower and Garden Festival in the spring for the past several years.
