Oxbridge Academy defensive lineman Tyler Williams and Village Academy offensive lineman Cyril Spells picked up more postseason honors Tuesday.

Wi l l i a ms , a Wa k e Fo r - est commit and the Post’s 2016 Small Schools Defensive Player of the Year, and Spells, a 2016 All-Area First Team selection, were named to the CBS MaxPreps Small Schools All-American Team.

Both were first-team selections.

They are among seven players from Florida named to the All-American Team. Jacksonville-Trinity Christian defen- sive back Shaun Wade was named Small Schools National Player of the Year.

Small schools are those with state enrollment divisions that generally have under 1,000 students.

Curtis narrows choices: With less than a month until signing day, American Heritage defensive end/tight end Noah Curtis has narrowed his list of schools to seven.

The three-star recruit plans to visit two of those schools – Toledo and Pitt – over the next two weekends. The other schools are FAU, FIU, Cincinnati, Bowling Green and Tennessee.

Curtis is giving careful consideration to all seven schools, his dad, Rick, said Tuesday.

“B e c a u s e h e i s b e i n g recruited at both defensive end and tight end, he wants to see which option offers a quality education, family environment and the quickest opportunity to play right away,” Rick Curtis said.

Noah Curtis is coming off a standout senior season in which he was named to the Post’s All-Area Small Schools Defense First Team.

He finished the 2016 season with a team-high 11 sacks and 73 tackles, including 23 for loss.

Curtis, 6-foot-5 and 220 pounds, was a Super 11 selection last fall, and is ranked No. 9 on the Class of 2017 Big Board. He is the only player ranked in the Top 10 who has not committed to a school.

Rick Curtis said his son will decide by Feb. 1, which is national signing day.
