If your New Year’s resolutions included expanding your wine palate, you’re in luck.

Cooper’s Hawk, a wine bar and “upscale casual” restaurant with outdoor seating, will open at The Gardens Mall this spring. The 10,000-square-foot restaurant on the second floor between Sears and Macy’s should open its doors between the end of March and mid-April, said Erin Devlin, the mall’s special events and PR director.

It will have a new, shaded patio that can seat 48 guests. Cooper’s Hawk’s proposal includes another 202 seats inside the restaurant.

Cooper’s Hawk’s wine grapes and fruit are delivered from vineyards in California, Oregon, Washington and Michigan to the winery for production, according to its website.

For $7, customers can get eight pours from a Napa-style tasting room. For those dining in, the restaurant’s menu has bin numbers next to each meal suggesting the best wine match.

Cooper’s Hawk also offers a monthly wine club. Two parking spots at the mall will be assigned for “Wine of the Month Club” pickup and carryout.

The Chicago-based wine room had been scouting a Palm Beach County location for more than three years before landing on the second floor of the mall. It replaces Anthropologie, which moved to a different location in the mall.

Here’s Cooper Hawk’s statement on the expansion into the area:

“We were drawn to Palm Beach Gardens, as it’s recognized as a popular dining destination. The Gardens Mall is an epicenter for this exciting culinary community, and by partnering with the mall, our Winery and Restaurant will be easily accessible for members of Palm Beach Gardens. We’re excited to bring a new, unique concept to the community!”
