The Florida Gators picked up two commitments from Palm Beach Count y wide receivers on Saturday.

Atlantic junior Corey Gammage committed Saturday afternoon, a couple of hours a f t e r Americ a n Heri t a ge sophomore John Dunmore.

“I k n ow t h e p ro g r a m, how they run the offense,” said Gammage, who is rated a three-star prospect and the No. 89 wide receiver in the country in his class by 247Sports. He had 64 receptions for 1,065 yards and 12 touchdowns last season and was a second-team allarea pick.

He has offers from several schools, including Auburn, Miami and Virginia Tech, and Gammage said he would take more visits, though he did not know where yet.

UF running backs coach and former Glades Central star Ja’Juan Seider was the primary recruiter for Gammage and Dunmore. They are the second and third Palm Beach County players to commit to the Gators since Seider was hired in February, joining Oxbridge Academy’s C.J. Smith.

Dunmore announced his decision on Twitter.

“It just felt like home to me,” he said. “They treated me like family. Great atmos phere, a nd i t ’s c l os e t o home.”

Dunmore attended Florida’s spring game Friday night, having never attended a reg- ular-season Gators game. He did say, though, that his mother is a Gators fan and he grew up rooting for the team.

“I’ve never been to a fall game,” he said. “But I plan on going to a fall game, one of the big games.”

The Stallions receiver said he kept an eye on the team’s quarterbacks and receivers.

“It was a great game,” Dunmore said. “I was really watching how the quarterback ge t s t he bal l to t he receivers, how the receivers run their routes, creating space.”

Dunmore, who transferred from Fort Lauderdale-Cardinal Gibbons in March, is rated a four-star prospect and the No. 177 overall player in his class by 247Sports. The site has him ranked as the No. 31 receiver in the country.

Dunmore had 21 receptions for 329 yards and two touchdowns last year. He also has offers from Syracuse, West Virginia and others, and said Saturday he plans to take more visits, including Florida State, Ohio State, Pittsburgh and Tennessee.

Hurricanes make offer to PBC star: Palm Beach Central’s Renato Brown, one of the top 2019 offensive l i n e me n i n t h e c o u n t y, announced on his Twitter account that he received an offer from the Miami Hurricanes.

Brown, who is not rated by 247Sports, also has an offer from South Florida.

The 6-foot-5, 265-pound tackle was a first-team allarea selection last season. He announced on Twitter in January that he had transferred from Oxbridge Academy to Palm Beach Central.

The Hurricanes have had s u c c e s s r e c r u i t i n g P a l m Beach County since coach Mark Richt took over the program. Miami signed top players Ahmmon Richards, Zach McCloud and Travis Homer in 2016 and Amari Carter and Jonathan Garvin this year.

In the 2 018 class, they hold a commitment from Palm Beach Lakes star Gurvan Hall.
