JUPITER — With his dominant performanc­es, spit-shined image and cross-cultural appeal, Tiger Woods became the first athlete ever to rack up $1 billion in endorsemen­t income.

Whether the golf great will make his second billion is an open question. In the latest blow to a personal brand built on self-discipline and military-st yle precision, Jupiter police arrested Woods early Monday on a charge of driving under the influence.
