ATLANTA — Welcome back, Justin Bour.

The Marlins first baseman made his presence felt Friday night in his first game after coming off the disabled list, homering in Miami’s 5-0 victory over the Atlanta Braves.

Bour, who was sidelined since June 3 by a bone bruise in his left ankle, hit a solo homer beyond the center-field fence, his 14th home run since April 30.

Bour grounded out in his first plate appearance before crushing a 1-0 delivery from lefty starter Sean Newcomb to make it 2-0.

“He had enough at-bats, where 10 days wasn’t too much,” said manager Don Mattingly, who added that Bour would likely take today off and be back in the lineup for Sunday’s series finale.

Miami — which has won three straight and 16 of 24 — took a 1-0 lead in the first. Dee Gordon singled to lead off, stole second and scored on a double by Christian Yelich.

The Marlins loaded the bases

(twice) in the sixth but scored only one run after J.T. Realmuto hit into a double play that scored Giancarlo Stanton to make it 3-0.

With two outs and the bases full, JT Riddle’s sharp shot was snared by shortstop Dansby Swanson, the long throw forcing an awkward tag.

“We had the bases loaded and only get one; you know you’ve left them in the game,” Mattingly said.

Dan Straily (5-4) allowed four hits in 61/3 innings, striking out eight. After Straily gave up a single to Tyler Flowers with one out in the seventh, Jarlin Garcia relieved and struck out the next two.

The night didn’t start well for Straily, as Ender Inciarte doubled to lead off the first. Inciarte moved to third with one out, yet Straily got out of the jam with two strikeouts.

“The first inning, you set the tone for the whole game,” Straily said. “The last thing you want to do to start your day is have a runner at third on the third batter of the night. You just have to find a way to keep that guy from scoring.

“I was lucky enough to be able to mix up some pitches and get a couple of strikeouts to get out of the inning.”

Said Mattingly: “Getting out of that with nothing after the double ... I thought it kept momentum on our side. He kept them off-balance. You can’t ask for more than that in a game.”

Atlanta came close to tying the score at 2 in the fifth when Swanson hooked a shot just foul over the leftfield fence with Matt Adams at first. Swanson eventually flied out to right. Straily ended the inning by striking out Johan Camargo.

The Marlins added two more runs in the ninth on a two-out single by Yelich.

On the bases

Gordon stole two bases to break a tie with Washington’s Trea Turner and move into second place in the majors with 23 steals. Cincinnati’s Billy Hamilton has 28.
