Man accused of exposing himself to child at school
4-year-old told Jupiter police that incident was during nap time.
JUPITER — A West Palm Beach man is accused of molesting a 4-year-old during nap time last month at a Jupiter school.
The child told town police “Mr. Leonard,” 34-year-old Leonard White, exposed himself in early July while the child lay on a mat for nap time. White reportedly tickled the child under the child’s shirt as well.
The name and location of the Jupiter school are redacted from police records.
White was arrested Wednesday on a lewd and lascivious charge. He was released from the Palm Beach County Jail the next day on a $15,000 surety bond. A judge ordered White have no contact with anyone under the age of 18.
Surveillance footage from the school showed White repeatedly walking past the child and then bending down over the child, according to the report. Police stated it appears White touched the child, but a hanging decoration blocked part of the camera footage.

Developer Frank Navarro said his company is working to finish plans and gain final approvals from the city for a $145 million, 435,000-squarefoot project on 3.5 acres that will include a 210-room Marriott hotel, 251 luxury apartments, a signature restaurant, 20,370 square feet of retail and a 485-car garage.
Plans call for the city to hand the property to his company in November. He hopes to be ready to start construction immediately, aiming for completion in 20 months.
The city wants the developer to have everything lined up by the time the demolition and closing are complete, he said. “It’s like a big battleship and we’re on the dock and they’re not going to let us break the bottle over the bow until we’re ready to go.”
