Amid recovery efforts from Hurricane Irma ,the U.S. Postal Service has begun delivering mail again from a few offices in Palm Beach County and the Treasure Coast.

The post office on Tuesday announced delivery services from post office locations from Fort Pierce to Boynton Beach. On Wednesday, the post office added delivery from the Delray Beach post office on South Military Trail.

No retail services — such as buying stamps or making packages — are available, spokeswoman Debra J. Fetterly said. USPS officials are meeting regularly to determine when to open other post offices and restore retail service.

Customers can call 800-ASK-USPS (274-8777) for updated information. Employees are asked to call the USPS National Employee Emergency Hotline to get updated information on work schedules and the status of their facilities.

“We’re anxious to get (services) restored,” Fetterly said. “We realize we’re part of the community and mail is important to the community.”

Besides Delray Beach, limited delivery services are being offered from:

■ The West Palm Beach offices at North Haverhill and Roebuck roads and at Northwood and Broadway.

■ The Boynton Beach office at West Boynton Beach Boulevard and Jog Road.

■ The Belle Glade office on Northwest Avenue L near Main Street.

■ The Palm City office on Southwest Martin Highway east of Interstate 95.

■ The Fort Pierce office on Midway Road east of Interstate 95.

The Riviera Beach post office on Blue Heron Boulevard, however, will remain closed until further notice, post office officials said.
