Veriato has hired two to support growth and strategy. Patrick Knight has been named senior director of cyber strategy and technology. He brings more than 20 years of experience in cyber security to his new role. With experience in intelligence and the private commercial sectors, Knight will help guide the company’s efforts in the burgeoning security field, expand and nurture partner relationships, and assist in meeting the needs of Veriato customers worldwide. Knight was most recently the security research architect for Cylance Inc., and with Intel Security for seven years prior. He specializes in anti-malware and threat research, software architecture and development, encryption and privacy. Before joining the commercial sector, Knight served in the U.S. Army and in the Department of Defense, dealing with military intelligence and other areas related to national security.
Mike Perrault has been named director of sales engineering. He brings 18 years of experience in sales to his position. Over the last 18 years, Perrault has worked in a multitude of positions for companies such as Scriptlogic, Quest, BMC, RSA and Varonis. His main concentration over the past few years has been security, including user and entity behavior analytics and data governance. He has an Master of Business Administration in operations management and a master’s degree in computer science engineering.

Joshua N. Goldglantz has been accepted
into the Florida Fellows Institute of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel. He earned his Jurid Doctor from Nova Southeastern University, and his Master of Laws in taxation from the University of Florida. In 2017, Goldglantz achieved Florida Bar board certification in the area of wills, trusts and estates. Jeffrey W. Johnson has been installed
president of the Florida Defense Lawyers
Association for the 2017-18 term. Johnson brings more than 30 years of civil defense litigation and experience in defending clients in tort-related litigation and claims. He has been defending wrongful death, personal injury, premises liability, products liability, commercial, construction and transportation related matters. Johnson is principal and founder of the Johnson Law Group in Boca Raton.
NONPROFIT
Kate Watt has been named executive
director of Susan G. Komen South Florida. She has over 16 years of nonprofit experience and a proven ability to develop, manage and engage community based partners, local government entities, elected officials and stakeholders. Watt will oversee the organization’s efforts to raise funds and invest grant dollars to better the lives of those living with breast cancer in our community through education and access to care. Before joining the Komen South Florida Affiliate, Watt was chief development officer for the Urban League of Palm Beach County, where she was responsible for the Urban League’s fundraising strategies, marketing, public relations, strategic planning and development activities. She is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and is a frequent speaker on the topics of fundraising and public relations. Watt currently serves as a board member for the Palm Beach County Chapter of AFP as co-chair of membership. She is a member of Leadership Palm Beach County’s class of 2018, as well as was a member of the National Urban League Emerging Leaders class of 2011 and the Bank of America Neighborhood Excellence Emerging Leaders class of 2012. Watt was raised in Palm Beach County, and earned her Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of Central Florida.
