DELRAY BEACH — Two men face dozens of felony charges in connection with a series of thefts from businesses in Delray Beach and Boca Raton, according to arrest reports.

Robert Troy Roche, 48, of Boca Raton, and Jordan Reyne Karvois, 34, of Delray Beach, are being held in the Palm Beach County Jail without bail because both are on probation after they were convicted of prior thefts.

Roche and Karvois are accused of entering businesses in both cities and walking out with thousands of dollars in stolen items, the reports said.

In most of those thefts, Roche and Karvois were under surveillance by Delray Beach police as they walked into the stores and then left with the pilfered goods, the reports said.

After the alleged thefts, Roche and Karvois regularly drove directly to pawn shops where they sold the stolen items, police said.

The thefts mostly took place from Sept. 3 through Sept. 27.

Among the businesses that Roche and Karvois were witnessed by police entering and leaving with stolen merchandise:

■ Office Depot, 14539 S. Military Trail, Delray Beach.

■ Barnes & Noble, 1400 W. Glades Road, Boca Raton

■ CVS, 6651 N. Military Trail, Boca Raton

■ West Marine, 2275 N. Federal Highway, Delray Beach

■ Walgreens, 10 S. Congress Avenue, Delray Beach

■ Walmart, 16205 S. Military Trail, Delray Beach

■ Walgreens, 4999 W. Atlantic Avenue, Delray Beach

Records show that Karvois and Roche were on felony probation when they were arrested.

Karvois was convicted of grand theft in April and sentenced to a year of probation that runs through April 18. Roche is on probation through June 13 after he was convicted in December 2016 of grand theft and retail theft.
