CONCERT SERIES AT CARLIN PARK

Carlin Park After Dark, a community concert series featuring tribute bands, is scheduled to kick off at 7 p.m. Saturday with Turnstiles, a Billy Joel tribute band. Admission is free. It is at Seabreeze Amphitheat­er inside Carlin Park, 750 S. SR A1A in Jupiter. Every other month through April, tribute band concerts are planned at the amphitheat­er, which is operated by the Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation Department. MEETING ABOUT JUPITER COMMUNITY PARK

Redevelopi­ng portions of Jupiter Community Park is the subject of a 6 p.m. meeting Oct. 26 at the Community Center, 200 Military Trail. The meeting is free and open to the public. Town officials plan to outline the town’s plan to redevelop portions of the park with new recreation­al facilities and renovate the existing park infrastruc­ture. Plan renderings and building floor plans may be requested via email or telephone. Draft copies will be provided in electronic format. OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES

The Friends of Jupiter Beach plans a Young Friends beach cleanup Sunday at 4 p.m. at Ocean Cay Park in Jupiter, on A1A just south of Marcinski Road. The cleanup is planned along the 2½-mile stretch from the Juno Beach Pier south to the southern edge of Carlin Park between crossovers 22-59, also known as Dog Beach. The 16th annual Rooney’s Golf Foundation Charity Golf Tournament is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. Oct. 30 at the Trump National Golf Club in Jupiter. Events include an 18-hole best ball tournament with a shotgun start. There will be an awards ceremony, luncheon and raffles with $10,000 in prizes planned. The event is being coordinate­d by Palm Beach Kennel Club and Rooney’s Beer Co. Proceeds go to Forever Greyhounds, Place of Hope, Potentia Academy and St. Ann Catholic School.
