Green market season is back, with Wellington’s kicking off last Saturday and Royal Palm Beach’s beginning this Sunday. HOMECOMING

Show some school spirit at Wellington High School’s homecoming parade beginning at 5 p.m. Friday. The parade will travel down Greenview Shores Boulevard from Wellington Landings Middle School to Wellington High. Expect some traffic to be diverted during this time. PUMPKIN PATCH

The pumpkin patch at Our Lady Queen of the Apostles Catholic Church, 100 Crestwood Blvd., Royal Palm Beach will open for business at 9 a.m. Sunday. One of the most popular patches in the western communitie­s, Our Lady Queen of the Apostles’ fundraisin­g pumpkins will be sold from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Sunday through Oct. 31. CAREER FAIR

Attention high school students and parents: This one is for you. The Expo Center at the South Florida Fairground­s is hosting a College and Career Fair from 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 18.
