Ah, it’s green mar­ket sea­son.

What’s not to love about green mar­ket sea­son? The mar­kets pro­vide fresh pro­duce from area farms, ar­ti­sanal goods, lo­cal plants, baked goods, gourmet foods and much more. Plus it’s a great time to just get out­side and en­joy South Florida’s fall sea­son.

Here is in­for­ma­tion on each one as they open for the sea­son.

West Palm Beach Green­Mar­ket

24Open: Satur­days, through April Hours: 9a.m. to 1p.m. Lo­ca­tion: down­town on the West Palm Beach wa­ter­front (at east­ern end of Clema­tis Street)

High­lights: With a stun­ning view of the West Palm wa­ter­front, this mar­ket is de­signed for brows­ing, nosh­ing, and lin­ger­ing while lis­ten­ing to mu­sic or watch­ing the kids and pups play. The area’s top farms are well rep­re­sented in the mar­ket stalls, of­fer­ing a chance to meet the farm­ers. The Green­Mar­ket also of­fers unlimited mi­mosas for $10 and free ac­tiv­i­ties for kids. Dog-friendly? Yes

Park­ing: Free at the Ever­nia and Banyan pub­lic garages dur­ing mar­ket hours

Palm Beach Gar­dens Green­Mar­ket

Open: Sun­days, through May 6 Hours: 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Lo­ca­tion: 10500 N. Mil­i­tary Trail (Palm Beach Gar­dens Mu­nic­i­pal Com­plex), Palm Beach Gar­dens

High­lights: This folksy mar­ket of­fers a mix of farm-fresh pro­duce, pre­pared foods, ar­ti­sanal goods and other prod­ucts in a low-key sett ing.Ah andf ul of seat­ing ar­eas are avail­able for lis­ten­ing to live mu­sic.

Dog-friendly? No, city or­di­nance for­bids all pets at city parks (ex­cept for ser­vice dogs)

Park­ing: Free in the sur­round­ing pub­lic lots

Royal Palm Beach Green Mar­ket and Bazaar

Opens: Sun­days, through April Hours: 9a.m. to 1 p.m. Lo­ca­tion: Vet­er­ans Park,1036 Royal Palm Beach Blvd., Royal Palm Beach

High­lights: Shaded walkways and seat­ing ar­eas are a big plus at this mar­ket, which of­fers or­ganic prod­ucts, lo­cal plants, pro­duce, spices, baked goods and arts and crafts.

Park­ing: Free in lots

Lake Worth Farm­ers Mar­ket

Opens: Oct. 21 through April 28 Hours: 9 a.m. to 1p.m. Lo­ca­tion: Old Bridge Park, on the north­west cor­ner of A1A and Lake Av­enue

High­lights: This is a true farm­ers

mar­ket, where one can buy pro­duce di­rectly from farm­ers. The wa­ter­side set­ting en­hances the ex­pe­ri­ence.

Dog-friendly? Yes

Farm­ers Mar­ket at Har­bour­side Place

Opens: This is a year-round mar­ket

Hours: Sun­days - 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. (start­ing Oct. 22, hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.)

Lo­ca­tion: Har­bour­side Place, 200 N. U.S. 1, Jupiter

High­lights: The mar­ket kiosks line the water­way from just across Tommy Ba­hama restau­rant south­ward. Mostly farm-fresh pro­duce and plants are of­fered here.

Dog-friendly? Yes Park­ing: Free on the street and garage (no charge for up to two hours)

Del­ray Beach Green­Mar­ket

Opens: Oct. 28 through May

Hours: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Lo­ca­tion: Old School Square Park, 96 NE Sec­ond Ave., Del­ray Beach

High­lights: The mar­ket’s of­fer­ings in­clude many ar­ti­sanal food prod­ucts, farmto-fork pro­duce, fresh-cut flow­ers and other unique gourmet fares along with live mu­sic.

Green Mar­ket at Welling­ton

Opens: Satur­days, through April 28

Hours: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Lo­ca­tion: 12150 For­est Hill Blvd., Welling­ton

High­lights: The mar­ket of­fers a range of or­ganic pro­duce, pre­pared foods and other culi­nary goods as well as ar­ti­san hand­crafts.

Park­ing: Next to the am­phithe­ater

Riviera Beach Green & Ar­ti­san Mar­ket

Opens: Every Satur­day Hours: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Lo­ca­tion: 200 East 13th Street, Riviera Beach (Riviera Beach City Ma­rina)

High­lights: This is a year­round mar­ket set along the wa­ter at the Riviera Beach Ma­rina Vil­lage. It fea­tures great pro­duce, spe­cialty food items, jew­elry, arts and crafts and health/nu­tri­tion items. Dog-friendly? Yes Park­ing: Park­ing avail­able at the Riviera Beach Ma­rina Vil­lage

Jupiter Farm­ers Mar­ket at El Sol

Opens: Sun­days, Nov. 5 through April 29

Hours: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Lo­ca­tion: 106 Mil­i­tary Trail at El Sol, Jupiter (cor­ner of Mil­i­tary Trail and In­diantown Road)

High­lights: More than 35 ven­dors will of­fer home­made sal­sas, French pas­tries, im­ported cheese, fresh-cut flo­ral bou­quets and much more.

Dog-friendly? Yes Park­ing: Plenty of free park­ing near the event

Green mar­ket sea­son has ar­rived so it’s time for you to get out­side and en­joy South Florida’s fall weather.
