Police: Man with gun rapes woman, threatens to kill her
She tells Riviera cops Oct. 6 incident was second rape.
RIVIERA BEACH — A woman could feel the gun against her leg while a West Palm Beach man raped her this month, she told Riviera Beach police.
If she screamed, 39-yearold David Aaron promised to kill her and anyone who heard her pleas, she said.
If she ran, he said he’d shoot through the door.
Ri v iera Be a ch police records detail the woman’s account of the night of Oct. 6 when Aaron reportedly raped her for the second time in as many weeks. She didn’t report the first sexual assault because “she just wanted the situation to go away,” police records state.
Aaron was arrested Monday on armed sexual assault and kidnapping charges. He was being held Tuesday in the Palm Beach County Jail on $150,000 bail. A judge ordered he have no contact with the woman, children or any weapons.
Aaron’s arrest report indicates the two had known each other for at least three years. The woman told police she had recently contacted him in regard to money he owed her.
The report doesn’t explain what happened before the assault beyond saying Aaron pushed her into her bed- room. If he caught her with another man, Aaron warned, he would kill that man.
Aaron does not appear to have a criminal history in Palm Beach County beyond marijuana and evidence-tampering charges from 2009 that the state decided not to prosecute.
