First Citizens Bank announced Ann Inesedy has been named vice president, business banker at the company’s Palm Beach Gardens location. She has been with First Citizens since 2011 and has over 25 years of banking experience. Inesedy is involved in Palm Beach North Chamber of Commerce, Forum Club of the Palm Beaches and the Florida Lawyers Network, among others.

Michael Drahos has been named a partner with Goldberg Segalla general liability practice group at the firm’s West Palm Beach office. He focuses on the defense of products liability and related litigation, including cases of catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death, representing leading manufacturers, distributors and retailers in actions by individual plaintiffs, class actions and complex aggregate liability matters. He also works in medical malpractice litigation. Drahos graduate of the International Association of Defense Counsel’s Trial Academy hosted by Stanford Law School. He is active in the Wellington community, where he has been elected to serve on the Village Council. He previously worked with Fowler White Burnett.

Holy Cross Medical Group said Vivek Narendra Patel has joined the oncology practice. He was formally a medical resident in the department of radiation oncology at the University of Miami. He has been published extensively in journals such as “Contemporary Radiation Oncology,” “Dermatology and Therapy,” “Journal of Applied Clinical Medical Physics” and the “Journal of Radiation Oncology,” among others. Patel is a member of the American Society for Radiation Oncology, American Radium Society, Florida Society of Clinical Oncology and Indian Physicians of South Florida. He speaks English, Gujrati, Hindi and Spanish. Holy Cross Medical Group has offices across Palm Beach and Broward counties.

Dorothy Jacks has been named president
of the International Association of Assessing Officers. She will serve as chairwoman of the executive board. Jacks is member of the Economic Forum of Palm Beach County and the Women’s Foundation of Palm Beach County. She is an alumnus of Leadership Palm Beach County, and a former member of the City of West Palm Beach Zoning Board of Appeals. Jacks has served as IAAO president-elect, 2016 vice president and past president of the Florida chapter of IAAO. She will begin her role on Jan. 1. Jacks received a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Florida.

Alan J. Bauman has been given the Crystal Diamond Award by Aesthetic Everything. He was recognized as a top hair restoration surgeon. Bauman founded Bauman Medical Group in 1997 in Boca Raton to provide hair restoration surgery.
The Delray Beach Downtown Development Authority has been given the Downtown Achievement Award of Excellence
for Delray Fashion Week 2017 and a Certificate of Merit Award for the Inside Downtown Delray Beach Video Series. William “Wil” U. Daley has received a
2017 DAISY Award. He was recognized by Holy Cross Hospital for his work as a nurse in the hospital’s cardiovascular intensive care unit. Daley was nominated by the daughter of a patient in his care. He is a resident of Lake Worth.
