Keith Beal senior project manager. He previously worked as senior project manager and restaurant division manager for Slattery & Associates. His project experience includes Seasons 52 Fresh Grill, Bricktops Restaurant, The Fountains Country Club, Pineapple Grove Village and others.
RESTAURANTS
TooJay’s Deli has named Maxwell Piet president and CEO. Piet will provide strategic leadership, working with the board of directors and management team to establish long-range goals, expansion plans and policies for the restaurant company. He has over 20 years of experience in the restaurant and hospitality industry. Previously, Piet worked as senior vice president of The Meatball Shop is New York City, where he managed operations, human resources, marketing and finance. TooJay’s has locations across Palm Beach County.
HEALTH
Good Samaritan Medical Center has appointed Tara McCoy chief executive officer. She will be responsible for overseeing the hospital’s strategic, operational and clinical activities. McCoy has a background in strategic development and physician recruitment. Prior to Good Samaritan, she served as a service line administrator for Tenet’s Florida Region, where she developed the heart and vascular network, as well as achieving interdisciplinary cooperation between the region’s hospitals. While at Tenet, McCoy also orchestrated new program development, covering the identification and implantation of advanced procedures, business case development, marketing strategy and ongoing oversight. She received her Bachelor of Science in psychology from Tulane University and her Master of Science in industrial engineering from the University of South Florida. McCoy has volunteered on the executive leadership committee for the American Heart Association for Go Red for Women.

Currie Sowards Aguila Architects in Delray Beach has also hired Jose Jaramillo as senior project manager, where he will focus on the Guy Harvey Outpost Clubhouse project. He previously founded and worked for JJ Architectural Group, and oversaw the design, administration and marketing aspects of the business.
HEALTH
tevixMD has named Jerry Baker president. His responsibilities include maximizing tevixMD’s capitalization, driving sales, developing partnerships and filling key senior management positions as the company grows. Baker has extensive experience in positioning early-stage companies for accelerated growth. He also has worked in advising positions for major companies such as Panasonic Corporation. Baker was a captain in the U.S. Marine Corps, serving as an artillery guns platoon commander.
HOSPITALITY
Matthew Linderman has been hired CEO and general manager of Boca West Country Club. He joined the club in 2005 and has worked as assistant food and beverage director, food and beverage director, club manager and assistant general manager. Linderman previously held positions in the National Hotel in Miami Beach, The Luxury Collection Bal Harbour Beach Resort, Sheraton Biscayne Bay Hotel Miami, the Rainbow Room in New York and Middle Bay Country Club on Long Island. He received his degree in hospitality with a concentration in wine and spirits, and formal dining. Linderman is a member of the Club Managers Association of America, the FIU Alumni Association, the American Sommelier Association, the Chaine des Rotisseurs (Miami Beach and Palm Beach) and the American Institute of Wine and Food (Florida and Washington, D.C.). He resides in Boynton Beach.

Flah & Company has hired Kurt Heinen as policy analysis manager. He helps clients in relation to policy design, re-engineering, successor options and investment opportunities. Heinen previously worked for two major life insurance companies.
LEGAL
Greenberg Traurig has hired Laura Maxwell as an associate in the firm’s West Palm Beach office. Maxwell received her J.D. from the Florida International University College of Law, where she was in the top 1 percent of her class and received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Torts, Contracts, Civil Procedure, Legal Skills and Values, and Constitutional Law. She received an associate’s degree in paralegal studies summa cum laude from Indian River State College, and her bachelor’s in diplomacy and international relations magna cum laude from Seton Hall University. Maxwell previously worked for Lennar Corporation and Nason, Yeager, Gerson, White & Lioce.
Robert W. Wilkins has been appointed co-chairman of the American Bar Association section of litigation’s data breach and internet subcommittee. He is a shareholder at Jones, Foster, Johnston & Stubbs in West Palm Beach. Wilkins is chairman of Jones Foster’s litigation department, with a broad-based complex commercial litigation practice. He is admitted to practice in New York and Florida state courts and the federal district court for the Southern District of Florida.
