HOFFMAN’S SET TO OPEN WONDERLAND SATURDAY

Hoffman’s Chocolates will open its annual Winter Wonderland on Saturday, and this year’s display will include a new outdoor ice skating rink, the company announced.

The 2,400-square-foot “Panthers in Palm Beach” rink will be located in front of Hoffman’s Chocolates Factory, Shoppe, Ice Cream Parlour and Gardens at 5190 Lake Worth Road in Greenacres. It will be made with real ice and kept at 32 degrees, the company said.

“We are incredibly excited to partner with the Florida Panthers for our 27th Annual Winter Wonderland,” said Lois Marino, director of community engagement.

The Winter Wonderland will feature more than 125,000 LED lights, live entertainm­ent, and photo opportunit­ies with Santa and Mrs. Claus.

The light display will be open nightly from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. through Dec. 30. Admission is free.

The Panthers in Palm Beach Ice Skating Rink will be open Nov. 18 through Dec. 30. Ice skating tickets are $15 each for general admission; $13 per person for groups of 10 or more; and $10 per person for military veterans and first responders; for a 60-minute skate session. The cost includes skate rental.

Hours of operation for the ice skating rink will be from 3 to 10 p.m. Monday through Friday; and from noon to 10 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

Both the light display and the ice skating rink will be closed on Thanksgivi­ng Day and Christmas Day. The rink will close at 6 p.m. on Christmas Eve. (Winter Wonderland will be closed).
