Where to go for Thanksgiving if you don’t want to cook
It’s just around the corner: Thanksgiving.
It’s that time of year for friends and family to come together to feast and give thanks. And for home cooks, it’s the chance to show off those culinary skills you’ve crafted throughout the year. But for those of you who would rather make a reservation than roast a turkey, we’ve got a cornucopia of dining options. Listed prices do not include tax and tip.
Café Boulud Palm Beach
Executive chef Rick Mace is preparing a three-course, traditional holiday menu, to be served from 1 to 9 p.m. Dinner costs $99 per adult, $45 per child.

Truluck’s Seafood, Steak and Crab House
The Boca Raton eatery is serving a three-course feast that features butternut squash soup, her-broasted chicken breast, choice of sides including creamed spinach, steamed asparagus and classic pumpkin pie served with eggnog whipped cream for dessert. The special is being offered Thanksgiving Day from noon to 9 p.m. Truluck’s full menu will also be available. Price: $38 per adult, $15 per child.

Sant Ambroeus
The Palm Beach restaurant will serve a Thanksgiving buffet from noon to 8 p.m. for $85 per adult, $42 per child. Options include: quiche with zucchini, saffron and shrimp, guinea hen rollatini, traditional Thanksgiving dishes, pumpkin cheesecake, pecan and maple tarte with bourbon and apple pie.

Located in West Palm’s Dixie Dining Corrridor, this eatery will offer a three-course Thanksgiving dinner from 2 to 10 p.m. It costs $58 per adult. There is no pre-fixed cost for children. Children can order off the regular menu. Options include: butternut squash bisque, fall salad with bruleed goat cheese, roasted turkey with apple and sausage stuffing served with sweet potato mousse, Brussels sprouts, pecan pie and pumpkin pie tart. Reservations are recommended.

Bistro Ten Zero One
The restaurant serves a lavish Thanksgiving buffet from noon to 4 p.m. (seatings at noon and 2 p.m.) for $55 per adult and $27 per child 12 and younger. On the spread: roasted turkey, pineapple-glazed ham, pan-seared mahi mahi with braised fennel and Florida oranges and a seafood raw bar with crab claws, mussels and shrimp.
Bistro Ten Zero One also will serve a special three-course dinner from 5 to 9 p.m. for $32. Both buffet and dinner include unlimited sparkling wine.

Vic & Angelo’s
The eatery’s Delray Beach and Gardens locations are offering a Thanksgiving buffet from 1 to 10 p.m. On the menu: butternut squash, Italian salad, roasted turkey with gravy, prime rib au jus, chicken piccata, grilled salmon with Grand Marnier sauce, a raw bar with shrimp, crab claws and oysters, assorted cakes and sweets. Cost is $42.95 per person and $16.95 per child 12 and younger.

The Office
The Delray Beach eatery kicks off Thanksgiving Day with brunch, served from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Options include Caesar salad, butternut honey squash soup, roasted turkey with sausage stuffing, green beans, mashed potatoes, apple pie, pecan pie or pumpkin pie. The buffet costs $29 per adult, $14.95 per child.
An à la carte dinner will be served from 3 to 10 p.m.

Pistache
This French bistro will offer a three-course Thanksgiving menu from 3 to 9 p.m., at $65 per adult, $25 per child. Reservations are recommended. On the menu: French soups and salads, roast turkey, beef Bourguignon, king salmon, steak frites, plus various holidayworthy pies and desserts.

Okeechobee Steakhouse
The iconic steakhouse will serve a traditional Thanksgiving meal from 1 to 9 p.m., for $31.99 per adult, $18.99 per child. The meal: house salad, turkey with stuffing and gravy, mashed potatoes or yams, vegetables, cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie. A limited selection of prime-cut steaks and seafood entreés will also be available.

The Regional Kitchen & Public House
Chef Lindsay Autry will offer the first Thanksgiving buffet at her CityPlace restaurant from noon to 8 p.m. for $65 per adult, $25 per child. On the menu: Old Bay Florida pink shrimp, deviled eggs, tomato pies, fried chicken, local wahoo with salsa verde, braised short ribs, roasted Seminole pumpkin with sage, roasted turkey breast, herbbraised turkey thighs, classic stuffing with celery and herbs, sausage cornbread stuffing, maple pumpkin pie, apple tarts, mini bourbon pecan pie, cranberry orange cheesecake and seasonal fruit.
The Regional will also offer pre-ordered meals to go. Choose from meals for four to six guests for $175, and eight to 10 guests for $275. All orders include traditional Thanksgiving main dishes and four sides.

Spoto’s Oyster Bar
The seafood-centric eatery serves its Thanksgiving Day feast from 1 to 8 p.m. Options include select items from the regular menu, a traditional roasted turkey entrée, Macadamia nut-crusted mahi and an 8-ounce steak filet. Check Spoto’s website for prices and more information.

Prosecco Café
This casual, daylong café popular with locals, is open on Thanksgiving from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Regular breakfast and lunch menus will be available as well as holiday specials. Prosecco Café is also taking orders for holiday pies and desserts, be sure to place your order by Tuesday.

The Leopard Lounge and Restaurant
The over-the-top eatery, located in the Chesterfield Hotel Palm Beach, will serve a Thanksgiving feast from 1 to 7 p.m. (seatings at 1, 4 and 7 p.m.) for $69.95 per adult, $16.95 per child. On the menu: roasted turkey with sage stuffing, mashed potatoes and cranberries, pan-seared salmon and prime rib.

Avocado Grill
Hoping to lighten up the holiday a bit, the West Palm Beach restaurant will serve a healthier version of a holiday feast from 1 to 9 p.m. Diners will have main-course options that include a traditional Thanksgiving dinner with all the trimmings as well as a more healthful version, which includes quinoa, braised kale, roasted tomatoes, green beans, sweet potatoes and cranberry. Thanksgiving dinners start at $29. Avocado Grill’s full menu will also be available.

Junior’s Restaurant and Cheesecake
The Boca location of the famed Brooklyn restaurant will serve breakfast from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and starting at 11 a.m. will feature Thanksgiving Day fare. The specials include roast Maryland turkey ($23.95) and roast turkey leg ($23.95), both dinners come with stuffing, green bean amandine, candied yams and cranberry sauce. Children can order off the regular menu.
