HOLIDAY CLOSINGS

Thanksgiving is today. Government: Federal offices, banks and post offices are closed today. State and county offices, courts and libraries are closed today and Friday. Most municipal offices are closed today and Friday. Offices in Boca Raton are closed today. Offices are closed through Friday in Glen Ridge. Lake Park and Wellington offices remain closed through Friday. Offices in Haverhill remain closed through Friday.

Transportation: There will be no Palm Tran bus service today. Tri-Rail will operate on a weekend schedule. Both resume weekday schedules on Friday.

Schools: Palm Beach County schools are closed all week. Schools in Martin and St. Lucie counties are closed the rest of the week.

Garbage pickup: There are no pickups today. Thursday customers in unincorporated Palm

Beach County, Atlantis, Greenacres, Jupiter, Lake Worth, Lantana, Riviera Beach, Royal Palm Beach, South Palm Beach, Wellington and West

Palm Beach will have their garbage picked up on their next regularly scheduled day. Thursday pickups were Wednesday in Boca Raton. Thursday pickups will be Friday in Highland Beach, Lake Park and Manalapan. Thursday pickups will be Friday, and Friday’s will be Saturday in Boynton Beach.

In Martin County, there is no pickup today. Pickups will run one day late.

In St. Lucie County, Thursday customers will have their garbage picked up on their next regularly scheduled day.
