Three Palm Beach County teams remain in the state football playoff ff ff ff ff ffs following wins last week.

Pa hokee( Class 1 A ), Oxbridge Academy (Class 3A) and Atlantic (Class 8A) will continue their bids for state titles tonight.

The Blue Devils travel to Madison County, and the Thunder Wolves host Tallahassee- Florida State University in state semifinal matchups. The Eagles host Davie-Western in a regional championship contest.

All games start at 7:30 p.m.

■ Davie -Western (10-2) at Atlantic ( 10-1): Western upset Palm Beach Central last week, rallying from a 12- point deficit to advance to this round. Atlantic took down district rival Park Vista 14-7 in the teams’ second close game of the year. The Eagles’ defense is tough and can defifinitely hold the Wildcats. The question, once again, for Atlantic is its off ff ff ff ff ff en se. If Shelley Singletary can break offff some big runs or Florida commit Corey Gammage reels in some long catches, Atlantic should advance to the state semififinals. If Western’s defense holds, though, Atlantic will be in trouble.

Jodie: Atlantic 14-12; Adam: Atlantic 24-21.

■ Tallahassee- Florida State University (7-5) at Oxbridge Academy (9-1): The ThunderWolves earned their inaugural berth in the state semififinals with a rout of Melbourne Central Cath- olic last week. Oxbridge’s defense, as usual, was a big factor in that 32-7 win. The unit did not allow an of ff ff ff ff ff fens ive touchdown for the second consecutive game and held the Hustlers to 27 rushing yards. The Seminoles enter on a roll, having knocked offff two higher seeds and scoring a total of 84 points in those games. But matching that output will be tough against the ThunderWolves, particularly if Oxbridge can score early.

Jodie: Oxbridge Academy 26-7; Adam: Oxbridge Academy 35-13.

■ Pahokee (8-2) at Madison County (12-0): The Blue Devils face their biggest test of the postseason by far in the unbeaten and No. 1-ranked Cowboys, who outscored their fifirst two playoffff opponents by a combined 112-13. In last week’s regional fifinal, Madison County routed state-ranked and unbeaten Cross City-Dixie County 62-7. Pahokee has gotten its off ff ff ff ff ff en se going during the postseason, particularly on the ground, and will come at Madison County with its talented stable of running backs. But in order to advance to their second consecutive state championship game, the Blue Devils will need a big defensive performance.

Jodie: Madison Count y 34-27; Adam: Madison County 28-27.

Records: Jodie: 166-37; Adam: 160-43.
