The Lord’s Place celebrated “opening the doors to success” for its clients at its 10th Annual Ending Homelessness Breakfast. At the soldout event attended by nearly 700 business and community leaders, three individuals were honored for their role in helping achieve The Lord’s Place mission of breaking the cycle of homelessness.
Those honored included Pamela McIver, presented with the Ending Homelessness Award for her more than 15 years of service as a board member and board chair, dedicated volunteer and as a lead donor to the Tomorrow Fund;
Craig Spatara, presented with the Unsung Hero Award for his work to help citizens successfully re-enter society following incarceration as the Manager of Criminal Justice Programs for Palm Beach County; and Arlene Hyman, honored with the Servants Award for her 20 years of service as a board member, a table companion to homeless clients enjoying lunch at Café Joshua and as a mentor to the women at The Lord’s Place Burckle Place, and Halle Place programs.

The Royal Poinciana Plaza and Sant Ambroeus hosted the designers of the Kips Bay Palm Beach Show House and their supporters to celebrate the launch of the inaugural Kips Bay Palm Beach Show House, the debut satellite event from the esteemed Kips Bay Decorator Show House in New York City.

Club and Boys and
Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County, the Show House features 17 of the nation’s most talented interior design firms, who transformed a 1920s Mediterranean-style villa located in West Palm Beach’s El Cid Historic District.
In less than two months, this group of extraordinary, talented designers completely transformed each room of the house. Design enthusiasts and visitors will be astonished by the level of creativity and imagination in each space. From the use of bright bold hues, intricate patterns, innovative wall treatments, stunning light fixtures and beautiful furnishings, guests will be inspired at every turn. The House remains open to the public until Dec. 19.
