Eagles QB Wentz may have torn ACL

Browns’ Gordon scores first TD since 2013; Seahawks tackle Richardson ejected.

The Philadelphia Eagles rallied behind backup quarterback Nick Foles to beat the Los Angeles Rams 43-35. The big question: Can they keep rolling without Carson Wentz?

The second-year sensation went out late in the third quarter with a knee injury that could be a torn ACL, which cost him the rest of the season and the playoffs, as the Eagles clinched the NFC East. Wentz needs an MRI to confirm the severity of the injury.

The Buffalo Bills’ 13-7 overtime victory over the Indianapolis Colts kept them alive in the playoff race, and they did it with third-string quarterback Joe Webb replacing rookie Nathan Peterman.

Peterman started for Tyrod Taylor (knee) but suffered a concussion after completing 5 of 10 passes for 57 yards and a TD. Webb threw only six passes as the Bills rushed 51 times for 227 yards in snowy Orchard Park, N.Y.

The Houston Texans lost quarterback Tom Savage (concussion) in the second quarter of their loss to the San Francisco 49ers. T.J. Yates passed for 175 yards and two touchdowns.

The New York Jets’ Josh McCown (hand) left the game against the Denver Broncos and Bryce Petty filled in.

Browns: Wide receiver Josh Gordon scored his first touchdown since 2013, catching three passes for 69 yards. He recently returned from a suspension for violating the NFL’s substance-abuse policy.

Seahawks: Defensive tackle Sheldon Richardson was ejected for throwing a punch during a melee that included defensive tackle Michael Bennett and Jaguars running back Leonard Fournette.

More pushing and shoving occurred after the next play, and defensive end Quinton Jefferson was tossed. He tried to climb into the stands after getting hit with what looked like a plastic bottle and shouted at fans.

Chargers: Racked up 354 yards in the first half against the Washington Redskins in an eventual 30-13 win. The 354 yards were the most in a first half for the Chargers since at least 1991 and their most in either half since 2010.

Cardinals: Larry Fitzgerald passed Randy Moss for third place on the all-time receiving yardage list (15,311). He trails only Jerry Rice (22,895) and Terrell Owens (15,934).
