PALM BEACH — All signs point to President Donald Trump returning to Palm Beach for Christmas — but it appears his stay might not begin until Friday.

A day after issuing an alert to pilots that flight restrictions would begin in Palm Beach County on Wednesday because of “VIP Movement,” the Federal Aviation Administration on Thursday sent a new alert of flight restrictions from Friday through Jan. 1. No times have been provided yet.

Although the White House is mum on Trump’s plans, the FAA alerts indicate he’s coming to town sometime next week.

The Trump family visiting for the holidays is certainly no surprise, since they usually spend Christmas and New Year’s here.

At least one member of the

family is expected in Palm Beach County even earlier in the week before Christ- mas.

Donald Trump Jr. is scheduled to speak Tuesday during the opening night of the Turning Point USA Student Action Summit at the Palm Beach County Convention Center in West Palm Beach.

Turning Point is a nonprofit with a mission to promote limited government and free markets by building “the most organized, active, and powerful conservative grassroots activist network on college campuses across the country.” About 3,000 students are expected at the four-day event.

Trump Jr. is scheduled to appear with Turning Point founder Charlie Kirk for opening remarks at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.

A visit by the president would mark Trump’s 10th presidential visit to Palm Beach and second Christmas holiday at Mar-a-Lago since his election in November 2016.
