KANSAS CITY, MO. — Because of playoff race implications for Buffalo, the Dolphins’ season finale against the Bills on Sunday has been moved to 4:25 p.m.

It was originally a 1 p.m. start before the league rearranged its Week 17 slate to avoid having certain games become meaningless before they begin.

The Bills are 8-7 and can reach the playoffs with a win and some help. They need a Ravens loss, or the Titans and Chargers to both lose. Baltimore, Tennessee and Los Angeles are all playing at 4:25 p.m. as well.

Miami (6-9) was mathematically eliminated from the playoff chase with Sunday’s 29-13 loss to the Chiefs.

Harris stars at home: Playing a few minutes from the home in which he was raised, Dolphins defensive end Charles Harris celebrated in a big way after recording the second sack of his rookie season Sunday.

“I celebrated,” Harris said. “I told everybody, ‘This is my house. This is my home.’ And that’s true.”

Harris had a contingent of family and friends in Section 107 at Arrowhead Stadium.

“It was great,” Harris said. “It was a blessing. I think God for the moment. I thank God for the opportunity. I could never have imagined it and never have pictured it. It didn’t come out the way I wanted it to be. But I’m still thankful.”

Harris had two tackles, both for losses, and two quarterback hits.

On the sack, he exhibited his speed to get around the edge and drop Alex Smith.

“Got off the ball,” Harris said. “Got around the corner. Played the ball.”

Was Smith harder to contain than Harris expected?

“He wasn’t tough at all,” Harris said. “We applied pressure. He got out of the box. We have to get him down.”

What was the most disappointing part about Sunday?

“Just losing in general,” Harris said. “When the clock hit zero.”
