The 16th Annual Archival Evening—the premier benefit for the Historical Society of

Palm Beach County— included a presentation of the Archival Exhibition highlighting ‘Nancy Brinker: An Extraordinary Woman’ and her many accomplishments. Archival Evening guests were delighted with the chronicle of Brinker’s early life, global impact on women’s health, and career in public service as ambassador to Hungary.

Honorary Chairs Michele and Howard Kessler, and Archival Evening Chairs Eric Brinker, Mary and Mark Freitas, and Ross Meltzer and Victor Figueredo welcomed guests to the annual dinner dance that supports free civics and history education programs as well as preservation of the HSPBC archives and artifacts collection, the foundation of exhibits at the Johnson History Museum.

Archival Evening is the premier benefit event for the Historical Society.

The evening pays tribute to individuals whose achievements have substantially contributed to the unique character of this region, from its extraordinary physical beauty and worldrenowned architecture, to its unique cultural institutions and its glittering social scene. Funds raised are critical in their direct support of civics and history projects developed for tens of thousands of school children throughout Palm Beach County, as well as the Society’s archives and artifacts collection.
