Nancy Hart— chairwoman of the upcoming Richard David Kann (RDK) Melanoma Foundation’s 19th annual luncheon and fashion show—and her husband Joel recently opened their gorgeous home for a special cocktail event that featured American sculptor John Raimondi and glass expert Norm Silver. Nearly 100 guests attended an evening that included tours by Raimondi and Silver of the Harts’ painting, sculpture and glass art collections. Those in attendance also learned about the newest initiatives by RDK Melanoma Foundation and the successful distributions of sunscreen dispensers.

“We are truly grateful to the Harts for believing in our mission and hosting such a lovely evening to help spread our message about sun safe behaviors and achieve our vision of reducing cases of skin cancer and saving lives,” said Stacy Ostrau, Executive Director of RDK Melanoma Foundation.

The Richard David

Kann (RDK) Melanoma Foundation will host ‘Eclipse 2018’ on Feb.

20 at The Breakers Palm Beach. The event will raise funds for the foundation’s mission to save lives through education about the prevention and early detection of skin cancer, especially melanoma, its deadliest form. The foundation has been working locally and nationally for over 23 years to educate students grades K-12 on the importance of sunsafe behavior. Its newest initiative involves the distribution of sunscreen dispensers in parks, beaches, schools, and outdoor areas where sun exposure is excessive.
