The Hurricanes will add a graduate transfer to their offensive line.

Venzell Boulware, who has started four games at guard in his career, plans to transfer to UM after graduating from Tennessee in May, according to a 247Sports report.

Boulware, listed at 6-foot-3 and 305 pounds, started one game at left guard for the Volunteers last year, and one at left guard and two at right guard in 2016. He will reportedly have two years to play two seasons.

Miami loses senior left guard Trevor Darling and left tackle Kc McDermott. UM returns starting right guard Navaughn Donaldson — a freshman All-American — and others with game experience at guard (starting center Tyler Gauthier, Corey Gaynor, Hayden Mahoney). UM also signed several fourstar prospects who can play guard, including Cleveland Reed and Delone Scaife.

Boulware, a graduate of Union City (Georgia) Creekside High, was rated a three- and four-star prospect his senior season by recruiting analysts.

He chose the Vols over Ohio State and Mark Richt’s Georgia Bulldogs. Al Golden’s Hurricanes offered him, as did Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Florida and numerous others.

Recruiting: Trevon Riggins, a class of 2020 defensive lineman from IMG Academy, has committed to Miami. According to 247Sports, Riggins is a four-star recruit (65th overall) and the fourthbest strong-side defensive end in his class. Miami’s 2020 recruiting class is currently ranked No. 1 in the country.
