PLEASE TAKE NOTICE the City Commission City of Lake Worth, Florida, proposes to adopt the following ordinance on first reading during the public meeting of the City Commission to be held on the ordinance, in the City Hall Commission Chambers, 7 North Dixie Highway, in said City at 6:00 PM February 20, 2018, or as soon thereafter as possible, to consider the following: ORDINANCE NO. 2018-06 OF THE CITY OF LAKE WORTH, FLORIDA, AMENDING CHAPTER 23, “LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS”, ARTICLE 3, “ZONING DISTRICTS”, SECTION 23.3-6 “USE TABLES” BY PROHIBITING PHARMACIES/ DRUG STORES IN THE DOWNTOWN (DT) AND MIXED USE EAST (MU-E) ZONING DISTRICTS, AND CHANGING THE CATEGORIES AND APPROVALS FOR “HEALTH CLINICS/URGENT CARE” FACILITIES, “MEDICAL OFFICES”, AND “OUT PATIENT CLINICS/MEDICAL OFFICES”; BY AMENDING SECTION 23.4-13 “MEDIUM AND HIGH INTENSITY CONDITIONAL USES” BY CREATING STANDARDS FOR HEALTH CLINICS/ URGENT CARE” FACILITIES, “MEDICAL OFFICES”, AND “OUT PATIENT CLINICS/MEDICAL OFFICES”; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, THE REPEAL OF LAWS IN CONFLICT, AND CODIFICATION; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. At said meeting interested persons may appear and be heard with respect to the proposed ordinance. The proposed ordinance may be inspected by the public Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the City Clerk’s Office, 7 North Dixie Highway, Lake Worth, Florida. If a person decides to appeal any decision made by the Board, Agency, or Commission with respect to any matter considered at such meeting or hearing, he or she will need a record of the proceedings, and that, for such purpose, he or she may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
