A suburban Boynton Beach man connected to six armed robberies around Palm Beach County since early January is facing charges in two of those crimes, according to an arrest report.

Damion Anthony Delapena, 25, is facing two counts each of robbery with a firearm, aggravated assault with a firearm and assault with intent to commit a felony. He was being held in the Palm Beach County Jail on Monday in lieu of $300,000 bail.

Delapena is facing those charges in armed robberies at 7-Eleven convenience stores on Jan. 12 at Le Chalet Boulevard and Military Trail in suburban Boynton Beach and on Jan. 28 on West Lantana Road just east of Interstate 95.

In the suburban Boynton Beach robbery, Delapena is alleged to have gotten away with about $40. In the Lantana robbery, he allegedly stole about $480.

“Give me everything you have,” Delapena allegedly told a clerk Jan. 12. “I have kids.”

A BB gun was later found by law enforcement at Delapena’s residence in suburban Boynton Beach along with two multicolored masks that he used to hide his face, the report said.

A witness told detectives from the Palm Beach County Sheriff ’s Office and Lantana police that she recently saw Delapena handling the BB gun and stating, “I can do a lot with this.”

Besides the robberies in Lantana and suburban Boynton Beach, Delapena is also being investigated for the following robberies:
