VOLUNTEERS, ARTISTS AND VENDORS NEEDED
The Loggerhead Marinelife Center is seeking volunteers for the 15th annual TurtleFest on March 24. The event is planned at LMC on U.S. 1 in Juno Beach and is expected to draw about 10,000 people. LMC is seeking volunteers to work about five-hour shifts in the morning or afternoon. Volunteers get a free meal and a T-shirt. The event features music, food, beverages, games and art work. Those attending will be able to interact with sea turtles. Vendors and artists are also being sought. For information, go to marinelife.org/turtlefest.
RUN AND RAISE MONEY FOR LOCAL STUDENTS
Registration is open for the Feb. 24 Riverbend 5K Green Run scheduled for Feb. 24 at Riverbend/Loxahatchee River Battlefield Park. A 5K race for all ages is scheduled to start at 7:30 a.m. A 1K race for ages 6-10 is planned to start at 8:30 a.m. at the park about a mile west of Florida’s Turnpike on the south side of Indiantown Road. All proceeds benefit the Jupiter Environmental Research and Field Studies Academy at Jupiter Community High School. For information, go to jerfsapartnership.org

On The Roxx is scheduled to perform Friday at the amphitheater at Harbourside Place on the northwest corner of Indiantown Road and U.S. 1. The event, from 6 p.m. - 10 p.m., is free and open to the public... Jahzilla is scheduled to perform on Saturday at the same location.
