VOLUNTEERS, ARTISTS AND VENDORS NEEDED

The Loggerhead Marinelife Center is seeking volunteers for the 15th annual TurtleFest on March 24. The event is planned at LMC on U.S. 1 in Juno Beach and is expected to draw about 10,000 people. LMC is seeking volunteers to work about five-hour shifts in the morning or afternoon. Volunteers get a free meal and a T-shirt. The event features music, food, beverages, games and art work. Those attending will be able to interact with sea turtles. Vendors and artists are also being sought. For informatio­n, go to marinelife.org/turtlefest.

RUN AND RAISE MONEY FOR LOCAL STUDENTS

Registrati­on is open for the Feb. 24 Riverbend 5K Green Run scheduled for Feb. 24 at Riverbend/Loxahatche­e River Battlefiel­d Park. A 5K race for all ages is scheduled to start at 7:30 a.m. A 1K race for ages 6-10 is planned to start at 8:30 a.m. at the park about a mile west of Florida’s Turnpike on the south side of Indiantown Road. On The Roxx is scheduled to perform Friday at the amphitheat­er at Harboursid­e Place on the northwest corner of Indiantown Road and U.S. 1. The event, from 6 p.m. - 10 p.m., is free and open to the public... Jahzilla is scheduled to perform on Saturday at the same location.
