Coates will join the Bank’s growing mortgage lending team. Coates has more than 20 years of experience in the field of mortgage lending.
The Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County
has appointed Josephine Gon to associate vice president of the Jewish Community Relations Council ( JCRC).
In her new role, Gon will lead the development and implementation of strategies that raise awareness for local and national policy issues affecting the Jewish community. Previously, Gon served as Federation’s Director of Israel and Global Initiatives. She is a graduate of the University of Witwatersrand, where she earned Bachelor of Arts degrees in Industrial Psychology and Industrial Sociology, as well as a graduate degree in Human Resources Management.
Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center
has appointed Kristen Peyper as its director of critical care. In her new role, Peyper will be responsible for the operational and clinical management of the 44 bed unit.
Prior to her current role, Peyper served as the director of critical care at sister hospital, North Shore Medical Center in Miami. During her tenure, she developed and implemented the hospital’s first interactive Critical Care Skills Fair and also facilitated a physician lecture series for nurses, with the overall goal to enhance team building amongst staff.
Kristen received her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Phoenix in Plantation, Florida.
Century Risk Advisors Inc.
has appointed John Krissel as director of the Transportation Division.
Krissel joins Century Risk Advisors with the experience and expertise to provide complete risk management solutions unique to the transportation and shipping industries. He was formerly compliance director with Southeastern Consolidated Industries. Krissel received a bachelor of science degree in Marketing from Florida State University and a master’s in Marketing from Georgia State University.

GHP Environmental + Architecture has hired Glenn Gruber as Senior Manager and Michael Anderson as Project Manager for their Jupiter office. Gruber was most recently employed as a MultiSite Environmental, Health, Safety and Safety Manager for General Electric Energy, located in Clearwater. Anderson was most recently employed as a Truss Designer at A1 Roof Truss in Ft. Pierce.
RECOGNITION
The Florida Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) has awarded Jason Thomas the Patriot Award for his support of an employee in his department.
Thomas was nominated by Brandon Waymire, financial aid technology specialist, who is set to serve a one-year deployment in Saudi Arabia for the U.S. Army. Waymire has served in the Army Reserve for approximately 12 years.
