Earlier in the season we featured on our cover the next generation of young philanthropists. These young people have made tremendous strides to bring a fresh perspective on society, charity and service. Renowned art collector and Palm Beach resident Jane Holzer has generously offered to celebrate the dedication shown by these young notables.

Jane and I will join to host an evening on Worth Avenue on Friday, March 2 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. to celebrate the spirit of generosity and commitment to local causes. The group will include the Young Friends supporters from the Norton Museum of

Art, Kravis Center, Palm Beach Symphony, Flagler Museum, Palm Beach Young Professionals, Palm Beach Opera, and Palm Beach Historical Society.

Not a fund-raiser, this event will instead serve as a casual networking opportunity for the up-and-coming charitable set, a group truly active in improving the local community.

The fashionable boutique, Sandro, located at 247 Worth Ave., will provide entertainment and refreshments to this eclectic assortment of movers and shakers. Sandro will also celebrate that evening the launch of their

new Spring/Summer collection, direct from Paris. If you participate in any of the Young Friends groups

mentioned, be sure to stop by!
