Wednesday, March 14 — Alpert Jewish Family & Children’s Service presents 14th Annual No Excuse for Abuse Luncheon.

Alpert Jewish Family & Children’s Service has had a remarkable response to its 14th Annual No Excuse for Abuse Luncheon, and organizers are happy to announce that the event is sold out.
Monica Lewinsky will be the keynote speaker at the March 14 event. Lewinsky’s topic will be cyber-bullying.
For those holding reservations, doors will open at 10:30 a.m. at the Cohen Pavilion at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts. Merchandise will already be set up so that attendees can shop at the unique vendor booths before the luncheon begins at noon.
Organizers are expecting more than 700 people to attend, a record crowd for this event.
Besides its counseling work, the agency also works with high school students in its Teen Trainer program to teach students how to spot bullying and abuse and how to help peers confront these problems.
