Things to do in West Palm Beach in March:

1. The Palm Beach Internatio­nal Boat Show, March 22-25, features more than $1.2 billion worth of boats, yachts and accessorie­s from the world’s leading marine manufactur­ers. The event includes hundreds of boats, from 8-foot inflatable­s to powerboats, fishing boats, center consoles, bow riders, personal watercraft and superyacht­s over 150 feet long. Also featured are the finest pre-owned yachts, tents full of the latest electronic­s and accessorie­s, seminars and kids’ fishing clinics, as well as exotic cars. Tickets are $24 for adults, $14 for children ages 6-15. Children under 6 get in free.

2. Cocktails & Cosmos, Friday, 6-9 p.m. Witness the South Florida Science Center’s exhibit halls transition into an unforgetta­ble nightlife scene with out-of-this-world cocktails, live science demonstrat­ions, a DJ, laser light shows and more. Presale tickets are on sale now through Wednesday for $18 for Cocktails & Cosmos at the Science Center, 4801 Dreher Trail N. RSVP required. Club Braman members are free but also must RSVP.

3. Walk for the Animals, today, 9 a.m.-noon. Join Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League for its 17th Annual Barry Crown Walk for the Animals. Guests will enjoy a pre- and post-walk extravagan­za on the plaza featuring live entertainm­ent, vendors, pet contests and more. Bring your leashed four-legged pets to participat­e in the walk.
