7TH ANNUAL WOMEN OF WORTH AWARD LUNCHEON A HUGE SUCCESS

The Central Palm Beach County Community Foundation, the non-profit arm of the Central Palm Beach County Chamber (CPBCC), honored twenty-two outstandin­g women in five different categories during the 7th Annual Women of Worth (WOW) Award Luncheon on March 2, 2018. The event, presented by Mercantil Bank, took place at the prestigiou­s Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa among over two-hundred Business and County Leaders. This event wouldn’t have been possible without the support of our presenting sponsor, Mercantil Bank and Corporate Sponsor, the Mall at Wellington Green. Laura Trosclair, EVP Domestic Retail Banking Manager at Mercantil Bank and Past Chair of the Central Palm Beach County Chamber of Commerce stated, “Mercantil Bank is pleased to be the sponsor for the CPBC 7th annual WOW Awards. It is an honor to celebrate these special women who positively impact our community. We congratula­te all those nominated.” The event began with guest speaker, Ellen Latham, Partner & Founder of Orangetheo­ry Fitness, who told her story of building a billion-dollar brand out of a lifelong passion. She spoke about life’s inevitable ups and downs and her internal drive to success. Rachelle Crain, Chair of the WOW Committee and Marketing Director for the Mall at Wellington Green, stated, “It’s an honor to Chair the Women of Worth Committee and have the opportunit­y to work with such a passionate and dedicated group of women. We continue to be amazed by the quality of the nominees and the support this event receives from businesses throughout the county.” Among all of the outstandin­g nominees, this year’s award recipients included Corporate: Pam Tahan, Wellington Regional Medical Center; Education: Donna Baxter, Palm Beach Central High School; Entreprene­ur: Kelley Light, Renew - The Breast Care Boutique; Non-Profit/ Volunteer: Christine Radentz, Christine Radentz Consulting, LLC; and Young Profession­als: Alicia Zweig, Lesser, Lesser, Landy & Smith. The five winners all received a PANDORA winner’s bracelet, a $100 gift card to PANDORA, a bouquet of flowers and a personaliz­ed glass trophy.
