NRA’s age limit suit strains credulity

Talk of chutzpah. The NRA is going to sue the state of Florida for violating the Second Amendment by raising the age one can purchase a weapon to 21. Nowhere does that amendment mention a word about legitimate age for a gun buyer.

It is perfectly acceptable to set an age for driving or drinking — but not for killing. My son, his wife and their little boy live not far from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School where he probably will eventually enroll. The alleged killer was apprehended not far from their home. I can imagine how they feel.

We must all speak up — and loudly.
