Symphonia debuts at Crest Theatre

Chamber orchestra The Symphonia, in partnershi­p with Old School Square, will be on stage from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Crest Theatre, 51 N. Swinton Ave., with a performanc­e titled Symphonia Squared, which marks the first appearance for the orchestra at the Crest. Alastair Willis, music director of the South Bend Symphony, will be guest conductor. The concert will be 90 minutes long with no intermissi­on featuring pieces from such 18th- and 19th-century composers as Beethoven, Brahms, Strauss and Mozart. VIP tickets are $49 and include a post-concert prosecco and Viennese pastry meetand-greet reception with the conductor and musicians. Regular tickets are $39 and do not include the reception.
