Hilton, CityPlace team up for cool weekend events

If you haven’t been to the Hilton West Palm Beach, you need to add it to your weekend plans. You don’t need to be a guest to enjoy this downtown hotel and all of its amenities. That’s what makes this hotel so cool. The Hilton West Palm Beach has become more than just a tourist’s favorite, but a local hub for awesomenes­s.

From pool parties to yoga, bars and dinner events to live D Js and more, the Hilton West Palm Beach knows what’s up. So, throw on your shades, call the squad and head down to the hotel.

Here’s a list of must-attend activities at the Hilton West Palm Beach:

Saturday yoga

Start your Saturday morning with some stretching right before the pool party begins. The yoga class is led by Jennifer Martin every Saturday at 10 a.m. by the hotel’s pool. Each class costs $10. No cover charge to enter the hotel.

Poolside brunch and pool party

Hilton West Palm Beach poolside brunch happens every Saturday at 11 a.m. The deal is bottomless mimosas, sangria or bloodies for $25 per person until 2 p.m. Plus you can choose from a la carte brunch options and grill specialtie­s. The pool party and brunch features music by D J Rey Verges. No cover charge, and no reservatio­ns are required but they are encouraged, call 561-231-6091.

Farm to Hilton, a vegan dinner

A collaborat­ive dinner between Celis Produce, the Hilton West Palm Beach and Kenwood Vineyards. This dinner will kick off the fitness and wellness weekend, District Fit, at CityPlace and the Hilton West Palm Beach. There will be vegan-approved specialty cocktails and additional wines by Kenwood as well. More info:

Today, 6:30 to 9:30 p.m: passed appetizers at 6:30 p.m.; dinner at 7 p.m. includes four courses ($99 ticket cost, $17.83 gratuity, $8.17 tax, $125 total).

District Fit

There’s a new fitness and wellness festival called District Fit in

West Palm Beach. The festival is being organized by CityPlace and Hilton West Palm Beach. This is a twoday event with several free indoor and outdoor fitness classes, wellness classes, healthy food vendors, live entertainm­ent and more. There will also be a fashion show, meditation, bootcamp for kids, barre, a dance class by Total Movement owner Erika Strimer and other activities.

“The event is part of Related Companies’ overall initiative to inspire residents to come together and live active and healthy lifestyles in West Palm Beach,” according to the press release.

District Fit

Friday at the Hilton West Palm Beach from 6 to 10 p.m.

Saturday at the Hilton West Palm Beach and at CityPlace from 10 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.
