Police say Sean Power used his phone to videotape the three 14-year-olds at Gardens mall.

PALM BEACH GARDENS — A suburban Boynton Beach man was being held Tuesday at the Palm Beach County Jail after he allegedly videotaped three 14-year-old girls in a changing room at The Gardens Mall, according to an arrest report.

Sean Michael Power, 24, is facing three counts of video voyeurism by a person 24 years or older on a child less than 16 years old.

Power appeared in court Tuesday morning and was ordered by Judge Dina Keever-Agrama to wear an ankle monitor once he posts bond, which was set at $15,000. He was also forbidden to have contact with minor children or malls.

City police said the incident occurred Monday at about 6:30 p.m. at the PacSun store at the mall’s east end.

A store employee told police he saw Power filming the girls. The girls were unaware they were being filmed, the report said.

The three girls were in the same changing room trying on clothes.

The employee told police he saw Power enter the store and walk directly to the changing room area, where he bent down and then placed his phone facing up into the dressing room.

A store manager told police of seeing Power “lurking” outside the PacSun before he entered and walked to the changing room area without looking at any clothes.

After his arrest following a traffic stop on Interstate 95 just north of Northlake Boulevard, Power told police he was at the PacSun store near the changing room with his phone out of his pocket, but denied videotaping the girls.

According to the arrest report, Power was seen deleting photos on his cellphone during the traffic stop.
